Statement on Diversity and Inclusivity
Through the performance and research of Renaissance music, Forgotten Clefs aims to steward a more inclusive early music community. Forgotten Clefs recognizes that arts organizations have perpetuated an exclusive, privileged view of history. The ensemble is committed to inclusion through artistic and administrative diversity combined with music performance that provides a more inclusive experience of Western music history, and actively seeks out new repertoire representative of marginalized performers, composers, artists, and cultures.
